Through guided exercises, we will write, respond, read, and discuss Pritam’s work, primarily using translated texts in Hindi and English. Participants will be encouraged to work in pairs, trios, and groups, crafting movement phrases individually and collectively. Play with imagery and objects will deepen the exploration, blurring the line between text and performance.
How does poetry become poetic through movement? How can we embody a poem and give it physical expression?
No prior dance or performance experience is necessary—just an openness to experiment, move, and explore. Performing is optional; participants can engage in the process without stepping into a final presentation on 16th March - 7:00 pm.
