The Sky is Not So Far

An Evening of Sky, Dreams & Desire brings together two intimate performances that speak to longing, freedom and becoming.

A platform performance blending oral and shadow storytelling, poetry, rhythm, music and movement. Set on a 6 ft × 4 ft space, it follows a young man searching for his missing slippers and slowly finding himself chasing the moon.

A semi-autobiographical solo performance exploring the lived experiences of a trans man through movement, poetry and music, reflecting on the body, identity, belonging and public space.

Together, the two works create a tender, contemporary evening about hope, vulnerability and the many ways we learn to dream.
