A 5-day residential acting workshop in Alibaug where body, mind, and soul come into unison.

Through quietude, body and voice work, improvisations and scene work, we’ll explore how to be truthful in performance, be it theater or screen.

Facilitated by Saurabh Saraswat - actor, theatre-maker & FTII graduate. His work is rooted in the body and presence, empowering actors to be truthful in any performance while unlocking their ability to create original content.

Expect deep dives into:
✨ Quieting the mind & being present
✨ Body, voice & impulse training
✨ Improvisations & scene work
✨ Building truthful connections on stage and camera

The workshop begins at 12pm on October 6th. Participants may arrive 10am onwards.

How to get there:

By Sea: Ferries leave every hour from the Gateway of India to Mandwa port. Alternatively, you can also opt for the M2M ro-pax service which departs from Bhaucha Dhakka/Princess Dock. From Mandwa, one can take an auto/taxi to the property, which is only a 12 minute drive away. Additionally, if you have opted for the Gateway ferry, they run free bus services along the Alibag road route. You can get off at Awas phata and take an auto to the property. Please reach out for the Gateway ferries’ timetable.
By Road: The Nest is located 100 km away from Mumbai and 150 km from Pune. The drive is pretty straightforward and should not take more than 3-4 hours.
