From the land of Sweden, the spirited Pippi Longstocking embarks on a journey to India, where she encounters the renowned litterateur Prasanna. What follows is a delightful adaptation of Pippi’s adventurous life, reimagined in an Indian setting.

Titled Pippi, the play unfolds through a series of lively anecdotes, capturing the chaos and charm that ensue when a fearless nine-year-old girl arrives in a town of prim and proper citizens—riding her horse, no less! While children are sure to revel in the fun, who says grown-ups can’t join the ride too?

About the Performers:

Monaswita Nath is an actor from Assam, currently based in Mumbai. A graduate of NSD Bangalore Centre, she has been actively involved in theatre since 2018. With a deep passion for the stage, she not only performs but also shares her expertise by conducting theatre workshops for children from time to time.

Harshit Annurag is a passionate theatre actor trained under Saurabh Sachdeva and Prasanna Heggodu. With a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary theatre, Harshit brings depth, authenticity, and energy to every role, captivating audiences with a powerful stage presence and compelling storytelling.

Pururava Rao, originally from Bhopal with roots in Haryana and Rajasthan, has delved into various aspects of storytelling. He began his journey with Bhopal’s Trikarshi Group, honing his craft before moving to Mumbai. There, he performed in over 15 plays with The Actor’s Truth group, constantly seeking challenging roles—just like this dynamic children’s play.
