Films

The festival’s film programme aims to highlight cinema that has, through history, diverged from the mainstream - experimenting with, reshaping and expanding the very definition of the art form.  The Black Wave of the 1960s, the Iranian New, contemporary alternative Indian films, experiments we have much in store for you!

We want to grow a real-life infrastructure for alternative culture in this city that's sustainable from within — community-owned, artist-run, and genuinely fun to be part of. Not a bubble, but a world. And we're building it right now, show by show, venue by venue, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
