Spanning over 40 years of his career, the film follows Salgado's journey across continents — from South America to Africa, Europe, the Arctic, and back to Brazil — through his powerful documentation of international conflict and war, famine, indigenous life, and the fragile beauty of the natural world.

Directed by 'Wim Wenders' and Salgado’s son 'Juliano Ribeiro Salgado', the film weaves in deeply personal reflections — a son’s quest to understand the man behind the camera, and a father's evolution from economist to artist, explorer, and witness.
