A balcony, a girl, a cookie and a stranger. A charming, curious yet anxious, 26-year-old from Wardha moves to Mumbai for the first time. 4 months into the city, she’s still homesick and her efforts to make a friend out of her indifferent flatmate seem futile. Multiple failed attempts at socializing evoke similar memories of void from her past. But all this changes when she has a chanced balcony encounter with a stranger. Who is this stranger? Does he even exist? Hold on, does she? A 40-minute rollercoaster packed with laughs, jokes, interaction with the audience, a dash of Shah Rukh Khan, and a whole lot of Mumbai madness. From Mumbai local trains to lonely hearts, from childhood memories to filmy dreams, this one-woman show dives into it all. A tale of urban loneliness that anyone can relate to and somewhere between the punchlines and the paisa-vasool moments, you’ll find yourself wondering: In this city of dreams… are we all just waiting to be noticed?
